Prayer items for week ending 25 Mar 12

  1. Praise God for the hearing of Xue Bin & Li Zhu’s case has taken place on 20 March. Continue to pray for them as they wait for the verdict which will be announced in 2-3 weeks. May God’s will prevail.
  2. Pray for Kevin Cheung’s father who has a severe stroke. Pray that he will be conscious soon and recover fully from the stroke without ill effects. Pray for Kevin & Grace & the family.
  3. Continue to pray for Elizabeth to get better after her operation.
  4. Continue to pray for the provision of finance for the work of our church. May God show us His plan and direct us to fulfil His missions.
  5. Pray for the conflicts and deteriorating situations in Syria. May God bring a peaceful resolution to the desperate situations.
  6. Pray for the Christians in UK to stand firm and be witnesses for the Lord despite being increasingly marginalised in this country.

 

Announcements for week ending 25 Mar 12

  1. Kevin Cheung has gone back to Hong Kong to see his father who has suffered a severe stroke. Do pray for his father and Kevin & Grace & family.
  2. Good Friday BCCC Day Retreat on Prayer that change life will be held at Church House on the 6th April. A day of worship and teaching on prayer. Speaker : Pastor Kim Chan.  Leaflets with the details are available. Do come along to this event as it is for the whole church to share this day together and learn to pray.
  3. If you can help in re-decorating church house, please contact Barry or Jim.
  4. Pastor Irene is away preaching in Bristol CCC. Pray for safe travel throughout her long journey.

  1. Xue Bin & Li Zhu & Abigail have been informed that the hearing of the Home Office ‘s appeal against their case will take place on 19 March. Please earnestly pray for them and God will grant a good outcome.
  2. Elizabeth is now home. Please pray for a good healing process, gradually getting back her strength and a full recovery.
  3. Continue to pray for the provision of finance for the work of our church. May God show us His plan and direct us to fulfil His missions.
  4. We give thanks to God for the safe return of Fun and Stella from Hong Kong.
  5. Pray for those parents in Belgium who have lost their children during the recent coach crash in Switzerland.
  6. Pray for the conflicts and detoriating situations in Syria. May God bring a peaceful resolution to the desperate situations.

  1. Good Friday BCCC Day Retreat on Prayer that change life will be held at Church House on the 6th April. A day of worship and teaching on prayer. Speaker : Pastor Kim Chan. Details available from Pastor Irene.

  1. Elizabeth is now home. Please pray for a good healing process, gradually getting back her strength and a full recovery.

  1. Elizabeth is going to have an operation tomorrow in hospital. Please pray for a smooth & successful operation and a speedy recovery.
  2. Stella has gone to Hong Kong to sort out care arrangement for her elderly in-laws. Pray that she will be able to arrange a suitable help-care plan for Darwin’s parents.
  3. Continue to remember Xue Bin & Li Zhu & Abigail in your prayers as they are still awaiting the decision upon their case.
  4. Pray for Fun that she will have a successful treatment on her shoulder in Hong Kong.
